Day Tours and Activities

Start Your Journey Today – Research your flight options and then finalise everything with one call to Valhalla Travel

A great holiday is not simply about where you stay—it is about what you experience while you are there. At Valhalla Travel, we can help you find and book day tours, activities, excursions, attractions and events around the world, from iconic must-do experiences to those wonderfully unusual adventures you might never have discovered yourself.

Once we understand your itinerary, interests and travel style, our consultants can recommend experiences that complement the rest of your journey. That could mean a private food tour through the backstreets of Rome, a hot-air balloon flight over Cappadocia, a Broadway show in New York, a wildlife experience in Borneo or tickets to a concert or sporting event.

And if you have something particularly unusual in mind—ask us. We rather enjoy a challenge!

In the Maldives, your adventure does not have to stop at snorkelling and diving. How about descending beneath the Indian Ocean on a submarine excursion, giving you a completely different perspective on the reefs and marine life?

Head to Japan and we can incorporate experiences ranging from traditional tea ceremonies and sumo experiences to food tours, cultural workshops and visits to some of Tokyo's extraordinary attractions. In Australia, possibilities range from Great Barrier Reef cruises and scenic flights to wine tours, wildlife encounters and private touring.

Across Europe, the options become almost endless. Explore the Colosseum with an expert guide in Rome, discover the Greek Islands by boat, take a cooking class in Tuscany, experience the Northern Lights in Scandinavia or spend the day discovering castles, vineyards and villages beyond the major cities.

Activities can also be built intelligently into your wider itinerary. Instead of simply transferring between two destinations, for example, we may be able to turn the journey into a private sightseeing transfer, stopping at historic towns, wineries, viewpoints or local attractions along the way.

Prefer to browse for yourself? You can also explore thousands of tours, attractions and activities through GetYourGuide using the links on this page. It is an excellent way to discover what is available and find inspiration for your next adventure.

Whether you already know exactly what you want to do or have absolutely no idea where to begin, talk to Valhalla Travel. We can help turn the places on your itinerary into the experiences you will remember.
